The Henseleit helicopters, created in Germany by Jan Henseleit, share their own loyal following. Due to the special design and mechanics found in these models however, motor options are usually somewhat limited - especially on the Henseleit TDF (Three-Dee Fun) and the new TDSF (TD-SlowFlyer) models.
With the addition of three new motor shafts, tailored to the specific requirements of the Henseleit helis, EGODRIFT now offers a full range of motor options for the TDF and TDSF (and TDR) models:
Henseleit TDF Tengu motor options
The Tengu 4025HS in 700kV (7/8S) or 750kV (6S) with the full round and chamfered 6x20mm shaft will be the perfect drop-in for lightweight builds of the TDF.
For those looking to turn the TDF into a high-power-to-weight-ratio build, there are two new 4035 options - 460kV (12S) and 520kV (10S) featuring the same external shaft dimensions - to choose from.
Henseleit TDSF Tengu motor options
Despite being a 700 size heli, the Henseleit TDSF (due to it's extremely low weight) operates on a motor that would usually drive a 380 sized heli. A perfect application for our Tengu 3220HS/960kV. A special pinion assembly on the TDSF helicopter model however requires a longer and specifically designed shaft, with a centered, small flat face for the pinion's grub screw.
The new Tengu 3220HS TDSF Edition with 960kV comes with this specially manufactured 36mm long shaft (5mm in diameter), that offers the ideal mounting position for the pinion as well as the required clearance from the motor mounting holes.
All Henseleit specific models can be found in our new
category.Side note: Henseleit TDR Tengu motor options
The TDR helicopter model has no special requirements in regard to the shaft, thus any motor option from our 4035 to 4530 stator sizes with regular 6mm shaft can be selected.
Shaft & Bearing Kits
Of course the special shafts for the TDF and TDSF motors (3220, 4025 and 4035) are available as spare parts / replacement kits and can be found in the "
" section.
