Motor timing for 4020 1050kv with hobbywing esc
Like with all Tengu HS models, we recommend to set the timing (advance) to around 9 degrees to start, and adjust in +/-1 steps if necessary. Please measure the temperature after the flight to check if the settings are fine.
Side note: The motor has 10 poles and any pwm frequency should be fine, but reduce the value you have set if the esc gets warm (that's usually an indicator of the pwm rate being set too high)
