Our EGODRIFT BETA Series is your chance to fly our latest brushless motor creations first and before they're officially released (and yes, it's perfectly safe to run them even though they're called "Beta Series", the motors have been used by our team and many other pilots around the globe for well over a year now).
With the new HT generation of 4025, 4030 and 4035 motors we bring the proven and optimized winds of our 45xx sized HS and HT motors to the 550-600 class, alongside a modified (2.5mm higher) base for improved cooling (and even quieter operation, as an unexpected, yet welcome side effect).
The result is a faster switching, more rpm stable motor generation that delivers (even) more output power while eliminating potential amp spikes under heavy load (such as hard 3d flight) and improving flight time.
The 4035HT is your standard motor for maximum power 600 size 3d heli builds, as well as slightly less powerful and thus more predictable, precision-oriented f3c builds and 700-800 size scale builds featuring mechanics that prevent the use of a 4525 size motor (like the HSM-800).
Standard kVs for 3D flight on 600 size 12S helis will be in the 550-575kV range. A replacement for the popular Scale Collection 4035HS/460kV comes with the Beta 4035HT/470kV (now available with the special base required for the Scaleflying/Roban models) and for f3c (as an alternative to the slightly more powerful, 4525HS/515kV option), the 530kV 4035HT provides a fitting option in the usual 520-540kV target.
Depening on your blade size and goal, a smaller motor might suffice and we recommend to check out our BETA Series 4025HT and BETA Series 4030HT models and the descriptions there, outlining common use cases.
While appearing quite a bit smaller than its 4525 counterpart, a 4035 motor does offer much less weight saving than one might think: It is, in fact, roughly 10-15g heavier than a matching wind on the 4525 motors.
Please note that the shafts available for the 40xx HS models DO NOT fit the 40xx HT models. Shaft kits for the HT models are of course available as well.
