Built for Scale

Just in time for winter building season: We're proud to announce our EGODRIFT "Scale Collection of Tengu heli motors that is aimed at the special requirements of your scale r/c helicopter builds.

Offering the same established reliability, cool operating temperature and efficiency as all our proven Tengu motors, but featuring sepcial (new) 6x40mm shaft options for the 4025 and 4035 stator sizes, dedicated kV options to fit the various scale mechanics and model sizes and a stunning new laser design.

While we're still testing some of the final specs, here's an overview of the first models within the Scale Collection:

Scale Collection - Initial Model Release

Scale Collection 4025HS / ~850kV
This motor option is aimed at many mechanics that already exist as trainer models today - this includes 550-600 size TRex, Gaui, Logo and alike. Most of these mechanics, however, are designed around motor options with approximately 1000kV and due to the lower headspeed and different torque requirements in scale models, a lower kV motor option is needed. We believe the 830-850kV 4025HS option will be a great fit in the 6S range and a direct drop-in. (final kV pending)

Scale Collection 4025HS / ~950kV
The 950kV option of the Scale Collection 4025 is aimed at the Superscale models by Scaleflying (and some other scale mechanics), that despite their 600 size are being flown on 6S. Therefor these setups require a slightly higher kV, which the 950-980kV option will provide (final kV pending).

Scale Collection 4035HS / 460kV & 520kV
Two kV options in the 4035 size for the use in all 700, 750 and 800 size scale models and operation on 12S. The 4035 stator size delivers a perfect balance of power, weight and efficiency, while being easy to integrate due to it's slim dimensions. Also suited for up to 1.8m sized models, the Vario range and other 1:8, 1:7 and 1:6 models (as an alternative to 4525).

4525HS / 515kv
For 800+ sized scale models and helis up to 2m size, but also great on heavier models from the 750 size up.

New shaft options
We have added a special 6x40mm shaft option for the 4025 and 4035 models, but of course all existing shafts (5x32mm, 6x23.5mm and 6x32mm) are also available on demand (and will fit).

We trust that the models above will cater to most of your needs as scale heli builder. Should you require a different specific kV, please get in touch with us. Like with all Tengu motors we do those for you within a day usually, and at no extra charge.
