What timing should I use on the 4020 1050kv motor using a 120a hobbywing esc?
Our HS series motors tend to run best on a rather low timing, and we usually recommend starting at 9 degrees (on Hobbywing), and to test fly the heli (and measure the temperature with a temp gun after flight). If necessary, you can adjust (fine tune) in +/- 1 degree steps from there.
